The War Of The Roses is a black comedy about love, passion, divorce and furniture. Barbara and Oliver Rose seem to have the perfect marriage. They met at an auction in Nantucket one rainswept afternoon seventeen years ago, bidding against each other for the same ivory figurine, and instantly fell in love. He was a brilliant law student at Harvard, and she, a college girl and star gymnast. They were soon married and had two wonderful children.
