A One-Horse Town
Vinnie goes undercover as deputy sheriff of a vice-ridden Northwest town controlled by a recluse (Steve Ryan). Matthew Stemkowsky: David Strathairn. Regosheske: James Stacy. Lacy: Darlanne Fluegel. Donny: Neil Gray Giuntoli. Corbridge: John Nesci., Operating on his own, undercover agent Vinnie (Ken Wahl) poses as a deputy sheriff in Lynchboro, Washington, a town drenched in corruption and vice. Lynchboro is virtually owned by reclusive businessman Mark Volchek (Steve Ryan), while Sheriff Stemkowsky (David Strathairn) has already been booted out of other towns for his excessive use of violence. An incident at a local brothel run with Volchek’s blessing prompts Stemkowsky to test Vinnie’s loyalty–by ordering his deputy to kill a troublesome young man named Bobby (Lochlyn Munro).
