Fearing that the Profitt’s empire is too extensive for the OCB to handle, Vinnie prepares to abandon the operation—until Mel makes him an offer he can’t refuse. Lococco: William Russ. Susan Profitt: Joan Severance. Ernest Haynes: Rance Howard., Feeling queasy about his knowledge of the Profitts’ huge illegal-munitions operation, undercover agent Vinnie (Ken Wahl) wants to back out of his assignment. Even so, he accepts the Profitts’ offer to take charge of their drug activities, headquartered in Tennessee. This brings Vinnie in close contact with an unlucky couple whom Mel (Kevin Spacey) has blackmailed into working for him–and whom Vinnie has been ordered to kill.
