Night of the Sentinels, Part 2
In order to prevent a sinister plot to track and eliminate all mutants from succeeding, the X-Men break into the Mutant Registration Office to destroy the files. But Beast is apprehended while trying to escape. Gyrich and Trask, the renegades responsible for the Sentinels, kidnap Jubilee, hoping she can lead them to the X-Men., Now a member of the X-Men, Jubilation Lee — or Jubilee, as she calls herself — intends to use her telekinetic ability to make things explode as a means of combatting the mutant-killing Sentinels. Alas, things don’t go as planned: After breaking into the Mutant Registration Office, Beast is arrested and Morph is appearently killed. As for Jubilee, she is captured by the Sentinels’ evil creators Gyrich and Trask, in hopes of luring the other X-Men into their trap. This episode was the second half of the X-Men series opener.
