After Priyanka Chopra, the actor, left the Sona Restaurant in New York City many months ago, the restaurant made the announcement that it would close permanently on June 30 following its last brunch service.
Reopening with an Indian puja ceremony three years prior, Sona Restaurant was a favourite among New York’s superstars looking for Indian food.
Through an Instagram message, the restaurant announced its closure. The Sona Restaurant has announced that it will be closing soon after more than three years of an incredible journey on its Instagram handle.
The eatery expressed gratitude to its hardworking staff for providing excellent food, warmth, and smiles each and every day. The article states that Sunday, June 30th, at brunch will be SONA’s last service. “We hope to have dinner or a drink with you one last time. Our hearts and doors are open,” the statement said in its conclusion.
In spite of COVID-19 regulations, Priyanka Chopra‘s restaurant “SONA” opened in New York City in March 2021 and immediately amassed a substantial social media following. But in August 2023, she made the announcement that she was leaving SONA, the company she co-founded with Maneesh Goyal.
