Famous filmmaker Ram Madhvani will reveal some untold conspiracies of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre through his upcoming web series ‘The Waking of a Nation’. This historical thriller is based on the untold conspiracy of the horrific incident that took place on 13 April 1919.
Ram Madhvani has presented this film very honestly, emotionally and respectfully. He has not shown the scene of Narasimha directly, but only the arrival of the soldiers has been shown.
The story of Ram Madhvani’s web series is narrated through the eyes of four friends – lawyer Kantilal, journalist Ali Allahbakhsh and simple man Hari Singh and his wife Poonam – which will reveal various aspects of the incident. It stars Taaruk Raina, Nikita Dutta, Sahil Mehta, Bhavsheel Singh, Alex Rees and Pop McEwan in the lead roles.
‘The Waking of a Nation ‘premieres on Sony Liv on 7 March 2025. The web series promises to give viewers a new perspective on an important historical study.
