Ranbir Kapoor has sent shockwaves through the industry by commanding an unprecedented fee of over Rs 200 crore.
According to the report of Bollywood Life, Ranbir Kapoor has demanded a fee of Rs 200 crore for playing the role of Ram in the mythological film ‘Ramayana‘. The special thing is that this amount is more than Ranbir‘s previous blockbuster hit film ‘Animal‘. According to a report in Pinkvilla, Ranbir Kapoor was paid Rs 30 to 35 crores for ‘Animal‘.
While Ranbir Kapoor is going to play the role of Lord Ram in ‘Ramayana‘, actress Sai Pallavi has been cast for the role of Mother Sita. It is being claimed in the report that the fees of the actress is very less than that of Ranbir Kapoor. While Ranbir is demanding Rs 200 crore, Sai Pallavi is charging Rs 6 crore for her role.
According to media reports, Nitesh Tiwari is preparing to make his dream project ‘Ramayana‘ in three parts. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, veteran stars have been cast for different roles in the film. Arun Govil has been chosen for the role of King Dashrath and Sunny Deol has been chosen for the role of Lord Hanuman. Whereas Lara Dutta Kaikeyi and Rakul preet Singh have been cast for the role of Surpanakha.
