The hugely popular Japanese-Indian film ‘Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama‘ was scheduled to release on October 18, but distributors have now informed that it will no longer be released on the scheduled date.
The 1993 Japanese-Indian animation film ‘Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama‘ was scheduled to release on October 18. However, now the release of this film has been postponed. This animation film will no longer be released on the scheduled date. The distributors of the film have informed that this film will now be released on some other date.
Ramayan: The Legend of Prince Rama was scheduled to release on 18 October in 4K format along with its original English version in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Geek Pictures India is distributing the film in India in association with AA Films and Excel Entertainment. Geek Pictures India has said that the release date of the film is being changed to reach more theaters and maximum audience. Geek Pictures India said that more than a film, it is a timeless story that celebrates relationships, the victory of good over evil, harmony between nature and creatures and friendship and trust.
The film’s distributor further added, “We are proud to present this cultural artifact from Japan in its spiritual home. We will soon announce a new release date that will give the film a wider reach across the country.”

The company has shared a note on its Instagram, which reads, “Given the incredible enthusiasm shown by fans across the country, we have decided to change the release date of the film from the previously scheduled October 18. A new release date is being decided in the near future. This decision shows that we want to ensure that this iconic masterpiece reaches every corner of our huge country.”
