Ranvir Shorey: ‘Painted me as abusive, alcoholic man’
Ranvir Shorey recently opened up about his tumultuous relationship with Pooja Bhatt, calling it the biggest scandal of his life. In a candid discussion on Bigg Boss OTT 3, Shorey alleged that Pooja Bhatt’s brother physically assaulted him, and their father, Mahesh Bhatt, planted false stories about him in the media.
These stories painted Shorey as an abusive and alcoholic man, which severely affected his career and personal life.
Shorey revealed that this scandal occurred during a difficult period in his life, shortly after his mother’s death. The actor sought solace by staying with his brother in the U.S. and pursuing an acting course.
Despite the personal turmoil, Shorey managed to bounce back professionally, working on successful projects like The Great Indian Comedy Show. However, the shadow of his past relationship and the media portrayal continued to haunt him.
Shorey and Pooja Bhatt’s relationship from the early 2000s ended on a bitter note, and both have since moved on in their respective careers.
