RDX is the story of three young boys named Robert, Dony, and Xavier. The movie is set in Cochin. Robert and Dony are brothers. Their father, Philip, is friends with Xavier’s father, Anotony. Robert, Dony, and Xevier are best friends and share a deep bond of attachment.
They are trained in karate and boxing. The trio always gets entangled in fights. This causes trouble for their families.
During the Cochin carnival, Robert gets involved in a fight with Jaison and his group. Robert, along with Dony and Xavier, beat everyone and broke Jaison’s legs. Accidentally, Robert sets Carnival on fire, which creates a lot of destruction. To save Robert from the wrath of destruction, his father sends him to Bangalore.
Years later, Robert is forced to come back to Cochin to save his family and friends from the danger that is lingering on them.
Actors Shane Nigam, Antony Varghese, and Neeraj Madhav are in the lead title roles, alongside Lal, Babu Antony, Mahima Nambiar, Aima Rosmy Sebastian, Maala Parvathi, and Baiju in supporting roles.
The screenplay for the movie is done by Adarsh Sukumaran and Shabas Rasheed.
The movie is directed by Nahas Hidayath in his directorial debut. And produced by Sophia Paul under Weekend Blockbusters.
The movie is released on September 24, 2023 and streaming on Netflix.
