Romance in the House: The Upcoming Kdrama will start streaming on August 10, 2024 on Netflix
Romance in the House revolves around a family of four: father Byeon Mu-jin, mother Geum Ye-yeon, daughter Byeon Mi-rae, and son Byeon Hyun-jae. After multiple failed business efforts, the rest of the family has opted to shut Mu-jin out of their lives, with Ye-yeon taking over as the breadwinner.
Ji Jin-hee from D.P has been cast as Byeon Mu-jin, and Kim Ji-soo from High Class will play his ex-wife, Ye-yeon. Meanwhile, Son Na-eun, a former Apink member turned actress, plays the protagonist Mi-rae, with ASTRO member Sanha playing her younger brother Hyun-jae. Minho from SHINee will join them as Nam Tae-pyeong, Mi-rae’s colleague. Kim Da-ye directs Romance in the House, which is also written by Kim Young-yoon.
The original trailer of Romance in the House, which premiered on Netflix earlier begins with a glimpse into the family’s existence 11 years after their father left the picture. However, things swiftly spiral out of control when he returns to their doorstep after all this time.
