How did you know about the attacker?
Talking about the attack on the morning of January 16, 2025, Saif Ali Khan told that his wife and actress Kareena Kapoor Khan had gone out for dinner and he was at home for work. When Kareena returned, they talked for a while before going to sleep.
After a while, the servant told that someone had entered Jeh’s room. He has a knife and is asking for money. It was around two o’clock in the night and Saif Ali Khan confronted that person. There was a scuffle between the two. Because the man had a knife, Saif Ali Khan suffered several injuries during this. Saif has revealed this in a conversation with Times of India.
Domestic help helped
Recalling the incident, Saif Ali Khan told that when he was scuffling with the attacker, during this time the domestic help Geeta pushed the attacker and pushed him back. During this, both he and Geeta quickly moved away and closed the door. Saif told that after the attack he was soaked in blood and his right leg became numb. However, at that time he did not know that the injury was in the spine. He thought that a knife had been stabbed in the leg.
Kareena, badly scared, took Jeh to her sister’s house
Saif Ali Khan further told that Kareena Kapoor was very scared after seeing the horrific scene. She was screaming. She was instructing the servants and domestic helpers of the house to go to a safe place. They were afraid that the attacker might still be around the house or that they might be attacked more. In a state of panic, Kareena was begging for help for a rickshaw, a cab.
When Saif started having severe pain in his back, she immediately decided that now he should go to the hospital and she took younger son Jeh to her sister’s house. Taimur and the househelp took Saif to the hospital. According to Saif Ali Khan, his elder son Taimur remained completely calm during this incident.
When they were going to the hospital, Tim also insisted on going with his father. Saif told that Kareena had asked Taimur to go to the hospital with him and his decision was right, because he did not want to go alone. Saif also told that if anything happens, he wanted Taimur to be with him. Saif Ali Khan told that he went to Lilavati Hospital by auto rickshaw with staff member Hari. During this, Taimur remained with him.
