Adil Hussain recently shared his admiration for Janhvi Kapoor‘s dedication while working with her on the set of Ulajh. The actor, who had previously worked with Janhvi’s mother, the legendary Sridevi, in English Vinglish, was reminded of Sridevi’s work ethic through Janhvi‘s performance.
Hussain noted that Janhvi displayed a similar focus, sincerity, and respect for her craft, which he had also observed in Sridevi. He mentioned that Janhvi’s commitment to her role was evident, making it clear that she has inherited her mother’s dedication to acting.
Ulajh, an espionage thriller directed by Sudhanshu Saria, showcases Janhvi as Suhana, a young Deputy High Commissioner navigating a complex mission. The film also stars Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew and is noted for Janhvi’s portrayal, which challenges stereotypes and addresses issues like nepotism.
Hussain also shared that he observed Janhvi’s dedication even when she was just 14, frequently visiting the English Vinglish set. He believes her commitment is a result of closely observing her mother’s professionalism.
