Plot of the movie
Salaar is set in the fictional city of Khansaar. Raja Mannar is the ruler of this fictional city. He plans to make his son Vardhraja Mannar as the successor ruler.
Minsters and advisor don’t agrees with this decision of the ruler but they cannot oppose him openly. They plans to kill the ruler and his son. They hires the armies from Russia an Serbia to attack Khansar and kill Vardharaja.
Vardharaja managed to escape from the deadly attack on the city of Khansaar. After escaping from there he reaches to his childhood friend Deva. When Deva gets to know about the tragic situation of his friend, he decides to support Vardharaja and set out a mission to make Vardharaja as the successor of Khansaar.
Cast of the movie
Actors Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy and Ramachandra Raju are playing key roles with various other actors in supporting roles.
Prabhas is playing the role of Vardha’s childhood friend and Aadhya’s love interest, Son of Shouryagaana Tribe Leader Dhaara named Devaratha”Salaar” Raisani aka Deva. Prabhas is leading Indian actor who works mainly in Telugu movies. He is known for his notable roles in Baahubali film franchise.
Prithviraj Sukumaran is playing a dual role as Vardharaja “Vardha” Mannar and Siva Mannar, Raja Mannar’s son and Deva’s childhood friend; Raja Mannar’s father. Shruti Hassan is playing the role of Deva’s love interest named Aadhya Krishnakanth. Shruti Hassan is an Indian actress. She is also a famoys singer. She is known for her roles in Premam and Krack.
Jagapathi Babu is playing the role of Vardha’s father and Siva’s son named Raja Mannar. Jagapathi Babu is an Indian actor who works mainly in Telugu Cinema. He is known for his roles in Pedababu and Anukokunda Oka Roju.
