Salman Khan House : In a startling development, Mumbai Police disclosed on Wednesday that one of the suspects implicated in the Salman Khan firing case, who purportedly attempted suicide while in police custody, has tragically passed away. The individual in question was found hanging in the lock-up’s restroom using a bedsheet and was swiftly rushed to GT Hospital, where medical personnel pronounced him dead during treatment.
Identified as 32-year-old Anuj Thapan, the deceased had been arrested on charges of supplying weapons to the two assailants involved in the gunfire outside Salman Khan‘s Mumbai residence. Reports suggest that Thapan made the suicide attempt while under police watch, prompting immediate intervention and transfer to GT Hospital, where his condition was described as critical.

Prompt police action led to the capture of the shooters, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, from Gujarat’s Bhuj. Subsequent investigations and information provided by the detained gunmen led to the arrest of Thapan and Chander, shedding light on their alleged involvement in the crime.
