Shahrukh Khan: the lawyer said- the phone..
Bollywood stars are constantly receiving death threats. During the investigation, it was revealed that the lawyer whose stolen phone was used to make the threats is still being investigated. During interrogation, he has now revealed that he had earlier also objected to Shah Rukh Khan‘s dialogue that mentioned deer hunting in his 1994 film Anjaam.
Shahrukh Khan received death threats
According to PTI report, the lawyer from whose phone Shahrukh Khan was threatened was called by Mumbai Police for questioning about the stolen phone. During this, a ransom of Rs 50 lakh was also demanded. In response to this, the lawyer said that this phone could be a part of a conspiracy which is being hatched against him.
Commenting on deer is insulting
During this interrogation, the Anjaam actor told that he has already filed a complaint regarding the reference to deer hunting. The lawyer told during interrogation that being a native of Rajasthan and belonging to the Bishnoi community, who consider the protection of deer a religious duty, he found this comment ‘insulting’. If a Muslim says something like this about deer, it is condemnable
Case registered against the caller
The Bandra police have registered a case against the caller under sections 308 (4) (extortion with threat of death or grievous harm) and 351 (3) (4) (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (BNS). The lawyer is also being questioned.
These things came to light during the investigation
The threatening call was made using a phone number registered in the name of Faizan. During interrogation, he told the police that his phone was lost last week and he lodged a complaint at Khamardih police station. The lawyer is being questioned in the case.
