In an interview with ETimes, Shilpa Shinde explained why she ended her engagement with “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” actor Romit Raaj. She mentioned that while her family and friends tried hard to persuade her to go through with the marriage, she listened to her own feelings and decided it was best for her. At the time, Shilpa felt she was too young and wanted to focus on her career goals.
Shilpa Shinde revealed that she got engaged to Romit Raaj when she was quite young. At that time, she wasn’t ready to settle down and wanted to focus on other things. As a result, their relationship didn’t work out and eventually ended.
Shilpa Shinde has shared that she isn’t a big fan of marriage and wonders why so many marriages and relationships tend to fall apart over time. She mentioned that if she ever falls in love, she wouldn’t label the relationship. Currently, Romit Raaj plays Rohit on “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,” while Shilpa was last seen on “Khatron Ke Khiladi 14.”
