Shivaji Satam Interview: he told stories of ‘Kuch toh gadbad’
TV’s hit show ‘CID’ started on 21 January 1998, which received a lot of love from the audience. Its last episode aired in 2018. Now after a gap of six years, the show is returning with the second season and is ready to entertain the audience again. ‘CID Season 2’ will start from 21 December. Recently, veteran actor Shivaji Satam, who plays ACP Pradyuman in the show, talked about the return of the show and during this he also made many interesting revelations about the show.
The second season of CID is coming back after six years, so what can the audience expect from your character as ACP Pradyuman?
This season will be more fun than before. Our style has not changed, we are the same, but the screen has changed. The presentation technique has changed. Pradyuman, Daya, Abhijeet and Salunkhe will also remain the same, only the background has changed. The production value has increased. The experience of watching the show will be better than before. The cinematic experience will also be very good. I can definitely say that overall the audience is going to have more fun than before while watching the show this time.
What kind of impact did the first season of CID have on your career and what changes came in your life without that character?
There was no special impact on my life, because three years out of those six years were spent in Covid. We all were troubled for three years and our films were doing well at that time. At that time, I also did those works which I liked from the heart. I continued acting. I kept doing what I liked. Yes, emptiness comes when there is a credibility of 22-25 years and it breaks, then there is always sadness in the heart
After spending three years in Covid, there was no major impact. For the remaining three years, I worked in advertisements, Marathi films, Hindi films, and enjoyed doing them. I believe that whatever God does, he does it for good. If we trust him, everything will be fine.
