Shruti Haasan is a producer, musician, director, and actor. Will she ever helm the biopic about her father, Kamal Haasan?
Among the most well-known figures in the Indian cinema business is Kamal Haasan. With his outstanding work, the actor has become something of a ‘legend’. In addition to his work in the South, Kamal Haasan has contributed to some of Bollywood’s biggest productions.
Shruti Haasan and Akshara Haasan are his two daughters. Both have dabbled in acting in the motion picture business. Shruti Haasan recently talked of directing a biopic on father Kamal Haasan in honour of Father’s Day.
Shruti Haasan disclosed that her motivation to pursue a career in filmmaking came from her father, Kamal Haasan. She said that in her opinion, he was He-Man. Shruti remembered an occasion when she visited a set and observed her father paying attention to his director. And pondered who this man was that persuaded her father to behave as though he was in a school. At that point, she became motivated and began to think of directing as an interesting job.
In addition, when asked if she would helm Kamal Haasan‘s biopic, Shruti Haasan replied, “Absolutely not.” She even explained why. “If I ever made a movie about my dad’s life, it would be blatantly biassed on my part. Furthermore, I believe that his tale will be better told by other, more qualified storytellers.”
Recently, during a jam session with Kamal Haasan, Shruti Haasan paid gratitude to him. The father and daughter sang some of his greatest hits from his career and engaged in a heartfelt conversation.
