According to reports, Sidharth Malhotra has decided not to play a cop in Meghna Gulzar’s future movie because he wants to concentrate on other genres.

Over the past few years, Sidharth Malhotra has played three noteworthy parts in uniform. He first appeared in Shershaah as the late Captain Vikram Batra. Later, he joined the Indian Police Force and became an officer in Rohit Shetty’s cop world. Most recently, he appeared in the aerial action film Yodha as an officer. But it appears that the actor would prefer to take a vacation from uniform-related roles at this time.

There have been rumours circulating recently that Sidharth Malhotra and Meghna Gulzar were discussing a possible partnership. But according to a source, the actor has chosen not to participate in the movie.

Sidharth Malhotra is currently concentrating more on expanding his genres, even if he truly wishes to collaborate with Meghna Gulzar. The actor turned down the part since it asked him to wear a uniform once more. The insider continues, saying that the actor has been turning down offers for uniforms because he prefers to highlight his versatility.

The actor is now working on an action movie alongside Murad Khetani. In addition, there are rumours that Sidharth Malhotra and his wife Kiara Advani are working together on a love movie. This will be their debut on-screen partnership following their wedding a year ago.
