Salman Khan’s Sikandar: Feature Satyaraj, aka Kattappa from Baahubali

The next Sikandar filming schedule is set for August, with AR Murugadoss’ crew meticulously planning to use the monsoon season for set construction.

A new update on Salman Khan‘s flick Sikandar – Kattappa AKA Satyaraj, from Bahubali, and Prateik Babbar have joined the cast. Warda S Nadiadwala, the film’s producer, released images from the set with the newcomers on X. She captioned it, “Garma Garam images from the sets of Sajid Nadiadwala’s Sikandar!!! With my favourite, Sathyaraj Sir. What a pleasure to see our director, @ARMurugadoss. Creating cinematic greatness. Cheers to another one with @prateikbabbar!” Sikandar is Salman Khan’s first collaboration with AR Murugadoss.

Last month, Salman Khan posted a photo from the film’s set. Salman Khan is pictured beside producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director AR MurugadossSalman Khan looks dapper in a pastel-coloured shirt and sunglasses. The star said in the post, “Looking forward to Eid 2025 with team Sikander. Sikandar by Sajid NadiadwalaAR Murugadoss has directed the film. EID 202 will be released in cinemas.

Salman Khan will appear alongside Rashmika Mandanna in Sikandar for the first time. Last month, the makers revealed the star cast, saying, “Welcome the fabulous Rashmika Mandanna to star opposite Salman Khan in Sikander.” I can’t wait to see their on-screen magic develop on Eid 2025.

AR Murugadoss introduced the film on his Instagram account with a similar message: “Eid Mubarak! Immerse yourself in the wonder of ‘Sikander’ when it premieres on the big screen on EID 2025! Sajid Nadiadwala Presents Salman Khan as Sikandar. Releasing in cinemas on EID 2025.”

Salman Khan last appeared in Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi last year. The film was directed by Maneesh Sharma. The actor also had a cameo appearance in Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster Pathan. Last year, the actor also appeared in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Salman Khan hosted the 17th season of the reality television show Bigg Boss, which was won by Munawar Faruqui.
