Singapore Saloon is a Tamil-language coming-of-age movie. It is written and directed by Gokul. And the movie is produced by Ishari K. Ganesh under the banner of Vels Films International.
Actors RJ Balaji and Meenakshi Chaudhary are playing the lead role in the movie. Alongwith Sathyaraj, Lal, Kishen Das, Ann Sheetal, Thalaivasal Vijay, John Vijay and Robo Shankar in various supporting roles. Lokesh Kanagaraj and Jiiva played are doing cameo appearance roles.
The movie follows the story of two friends Kathir and Basheer. They both lives in a village. They gets inspired by a local salon owner named Sacha. And Kathir dreams to become a haitlrstylist. To pursue his dream Kathir start his journey towards his dream goal. The movie tells a story about the challenges he faces and how he survive through tough situations. And after much difficulties he strives to open his own ‘Singapore Saloon‘.
The movie was released theatrically on January 25, 2024. And after gaining positive reviews the movie is currently released for online streaming on Prime Video.
