The couple made their first public appearance since their marriage, going out for supper with intimate friends and relatives.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal decided to go out late on Wednesday evening to a restaurant in Mumbai. Sonakshi looked stunning in a red silk dress, which she teamed with heels and a shimmering white clutch bag. Meanwhile, Zaheer Iqbal chose a white shirt with black leaf designs emblazoned on it. Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal posed for a few photos outside the restaurant, both smiling broadly. They were then seen entering the eatery and hugging a close relative. Zaheer Iqbal was observed touching the feet of an elderly relative.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal married civilly at her home on Sunday. They were joined by her father, Shatrughan Sinha, mother Poonam Sinha, and his parents. Shatrughan Sinha later came to X to thank everyone for their congratulations, describing it as the ‘wedding of the century’. The couple donned ivory gowns to the wedding, with Sonakshi Sinha subsequently changing into a gold and red saree and Zaheer Iqbal into a white kurta with crimson underlay.
