Sonu Nigam set a record! “Overwhelmed” to play at the Sydney Opera House for eight hours

Sonu Nigam will do two consecutive nights at the Sydney Opera House in Australia, making his debut there as a solo performer.

Sonu Nigam has received numerous honours and accolades, over the course of his fifteen-year career as an artist, including the highly sought-after Padma Shri

The singer plans to add one more feather to his cap now. It will be Nigam’s first time performing two consecutive gigs at Australia’s esteemed Sydney Opera House as a solo artist on June 10. It’s also his first time at the location. Nigam issue scheduled to give two three-and-a-half-hour shows.

The singer, who is now on a UK tour, exclusively tells about the impending achievement, saying, “I’m overwhelmed beyond words by just the realisation of what’s happening to me.”

“Although God has been beaming on me for many years, the past two have been especially remarkable and humble. It makes me feel really emotional, from the lovely songs I’ve been receiving to the incredible concerts I’ve been attending.” The singer continued.

According to Sonu Nigam, “It is truly a sign of divine intervention that there are two sold-out performances at the esteemed Sydney Opera House on the same day, one month in advance.”

Nigam turned 50 last year, and so did the Sydney Opera House, by happenstance. “After doing some research on the location, I discovered that. Our 50th year was meant to be our meeting point. “I’m excited for the festivities,” he concludes.
