National Film Awards 2023 See Dominance of Southern Films, Hindi Cinema Trails with 8 Wins

The winners of the National Film Awards were announced on Friday for the films released in the year 2022. For once, the dominance of South Indian films was visible in the list of winners. South’s films have won awards in many categories including Best Actor and Best Film. At the same time, Hindi cinema once seemed to be lagging behind.
8 awards in the name of Hindi films :-
The Hindi films which made their place in this list include Brahmastra Part-1, Utthi and Gulmohar. Brahmastra Part-1 and Utthi were released in theatres, while Gulmohar was released directly on OTT.
Gulmohar won three awards – Best Hindi Film, Special Mention for Manoj Bajpayee and Best Dialogue (Arpita Mukherjee, Rahul V Chittela).
Awards in South :-
Only so many awards could come in Hindi cinema’s kitty. At the same time, it rained awards on South Cinema. South films have won more than 12 awards. Kantara, KGF 2, PS-1, Karthikeya 2 won in the popular categories.
