But for this specific project, he’s going in a different direction. It is said that Rajamouli will get a cut of the movie’s earnings rather than a set payment. Taking into account the substantial pre-release offers his films usually garner on several platforms, he is acting sensibly. His possible profit-sharing gains might potentially exceed Rs 150 crores or possibly even more than Rs 200 crore, surpassing even the high fees demanded by the superstar himself.
For his latest flicks, Tollywood actor Mahesh has been asking between Rs 60 and Rs 80 crores. Mahesh Babu, however, is allegedly demanding profit share in addition to compensation for Rajamouli’s project, which is expected to cost more over Rs. 100 crores.
Although the official release date has not yet been announced, industry experts predict that the movie will debut around the final week of March in 2024.
