On Monday, Abhishek released a statement on social media, in which he expressed his views in detail. The statement said that the reason for parting ways with the 2012 film Agneepath was that we could not understand the vision of director Karan Malhotra.

Abhishek further said that we never accused Dharma Productions of doing anything wrong.
