Stree 2 Trailer : Horror and Humor Collide Again in the Chilling Sequel Set to Release on Independence Day
The much-anticipated trailer for “Stree 2” has been released, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in their iconic roles. The film, directed by Amar Kaushik, continues the story of the ghostly presence in the small town of Chanderi, where the malevolent spirit, Stree, played by Shraddha Kapoor, wreaks havoc once again.

This time, the narrative introduces a new monster named Sarkata, adding a fresh layer of horror to the mix. Rajkummar Rao reprises his role as Vicky, and the trailer showcases his palpable fear and determination to combat the supernatural threat. Alongside him, Pankaj Tripathi returns as the quirky Rudra, providing a mix of comic relief and sage advice to the villagers.

Tamannaah Bhatia joins the cast as a dancer who becomes entangled in the eerie happenings, while Flora Saini’s vengeful spirit also makes a chilling return. The trailer is filled with spine-tingling moments and highlights the on-screen chemistry between Rao and Kapoor, who both bring intensity to their roles.

The teaser hints at a larger scale of terror and suspense, promising that this installment will delve deeper into the lore of Stree and her new adversary, Sarkata. The film is set to release on Independence Day, August 15, and is expected to be a significant draw for horror-comedy enthusiasts.
“Stree 2” is penned by Niren Bhatt, the writer of the original movie, and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films, in collaboration with Jio Studios.
