‘Sugar’ Will Debut Globally On Apple TV On April 5 2024

‘Sugar’ will debut globally on Apple TV on April 5, 2024, when its first three episodes will be released together.

Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for detective drama ‘Sugar’, ahead of its release next month, reports ‘Collider’. The eight-part series narrates the story of a private investigator and explores the city of Los Angeles as the detective uncovers the secrets surrounding a high-profile disappearance case.

The trailer opens with Farrell’s character John beginning an investigation of the case related to Olivia’s disappearance.

In this part If media reports are to be believed, the Los Angeles-based detective drama has been dubbed as “an imaginative tale of two strangers and the extraordinary emotional journey that connects them”

The star cast of the series includes Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Amy Ryan, James Cromwell, and Anna Gunn. Besides, Dennis Boutsikaris, Nate Corddry, Sydney Chandler, and Alex Hernandez also feature in the detective drama.

It is Directed by Oscar-nominated Fernando Meirelles, the eight-episode detective drama explores the city of Los Angeles, which has been used as a character. The city plays a major part in the series, it is showcased brilliantly in black-and-white shots, creating an intriguing background for the series
