Superman Teaser: David Corenswet takes his first flight
The teaser trailer of James Gunn‘s third reboot of the Superman franchise was released by the filmmaker on Thursday evening. The teaser gives the first look at David Corenswet‘s role as the Man of Steel, where he takes over the mantle from Henry Cavill. David Corenswet takes his first flight as the new Superman. The teaser shows a weakened Superman, lying in a snow-covered area with blood coming out of his mouth.
Superman’s powerful teaser-trailer
The trailer introduces not just Superman but also several other members of the DC Universe, most notably Krypto, the super dog. The teaser has been praised by fans for its bright colors, which are completely different from Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel. The teaser begins with an injured Superman lying in the snow, covered in blood. The only dialogue in the entire teaser is when Krypto the superdog comes up to him and Superman says, ‘Take me home.’
Story and Cast of the film
The teaser also gives a first look at David Corenswet as Clark Kent, Superman’s second incarnation, who works as a reporter for the newspaper The Daily Planet. Kent’s colleague and Superman’s lover, Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan) and his archenemy, Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult) are also introduced in the teaser trailer.
