The comedy movie shows the hillarious miseries of Paandappa who is trying to celebrate the wedding of his loving daughter.
Paandappa who is also known as Paandu lives in village called Mandya. He loves her daughter very much and wants her to get settled down.
Paandu is looking for a perfect match for her daughter Jyothi. He has denied many marriage proposal as he though they were not suitable for his loving and beautiful daughter.
After so many efforts Paandu successfully finds a perfect match for his daughter marriage. He feels that the groom can provide all the happiness to his daughter which she deserves. Paandu arranges Jyothi’s marriage with the selected young man. He feel content with his choice.
To celebrate the recently developed alliance of marriage, Paandu decided to sacrifice a male sheep as the gift for their ancestral lords. Things take hilarious turns when the sheep refused to cooperate with the sacrifice. This is taken as the bad luck for the upcoming wedding. Many unexpected and hilarious events occur after this and forms the crux of the story.
Actors Nagabhushana, Amrutha Prem, Tara, Sharath Lohithaswa and Rangayana Raghu are playing key roles in the movie with various other actors in supporting roles.
The role of Paandu is played by a leading actor of Kannada movies Rangayana Raghu. He is best known for his acting performances in movies like Olave Mandara and Jayammana Maga.
Amrutha Prem is doing her debut in Kannada movie by playing the lead role of Jyothi in the movie.
Vasuki Vaibhav is playing the role of the groom in the movie. Vasuki Vaibhav is a well known lyricist of Kannada movie. He also works in movies as an actor. He has also composed the music for Tagaru Palya.
The Kannada comedy drama movie is directed by Umesh K. Krupa. The director is doing his debut with Tagaru Palya. The cinematography and editing are done by S.K. Rao and Madhu Thumbakere.
The movie is produced by Dhananjaya under the banner of his production company Daali Pictures. Dhananjaya is known for producing Kannada movies like Badava Rascal and Head Bush.
