And the series ‘Ten Pound Poms‘ is set in that era of time. It’s a historical drama series showcasing the lives of immigrants and their struggles to establish their identity in a new country.
A group of people from Britain leave for Australia to grab the opportunity to make their lives better.
After arriving, they found that the promises Australia made were futile. And there, the struggle for life begins. With a new identity as an immigrant in a new country, people have to face many situations.
In the series, the actors Michelle Keegan, Faye Marsay, and Warren Brown, along with various others, play the roles of British immigrants who migrated to Australia.
This British historical drama series is directed by Ana Kokkinos and Jamie Magnus Stone. The story of the drama series is co-written by Danny Brocklehurst, Ryan Griffen, Smita Bhide, and Ava Puckett. Produced by Eleven Film, the filming of the series is done in Australia.
