Movie Review
The Archies was released on Netflix India on the 7th of December. The movie is set in the time period of 1960s and revolves around Archie Andrews and his friends group.

The Archies is directed by Zoya Akhtar, One of the popular directors who are currently working in the Indian film industry. She has shown her excellence in field by directing some of the blockbuster movies Luck By Chance, Zindagi Na Mile Dobara and Dil Dhadakne Do. With this movie she has once again proven that she can rules the box office by her creations.

The Archies is a musical based movie as the group of have a common interest of music. They all have share a same passion for music and create a musical band. Music is the plus point of the movie as it holds the soul of movie and keeps it alive. The music for the movie is composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy. The trio of music directors are known for their compositions in Dil Chahta Hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, My Name Is Khan, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Dil Dhadakne Do. They have once again proven their holds in the field of music creation.

The Archies is packed with stars like Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Saigal and Yuvraj Menda. Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor and Suhana Khan comes from the families of well established personalities of Indian film industry. And their acting skills seems to be weak infront of other actors.

According to the sources, The Archies stands at the third position on the most-watched non English movie last week.
The view hours of the show are 5,200,000 hours. This much viewing hours are somehow are not great if we compare to how the movie was promoted by Netflix on a very vast level.

Overall we can say that if you are interested in musical movie and like retro style of living then The Archie is worth watching.
