Plot of The Brothers Sun

Bruce Sun is a living his life as average person. He lives in California. He is leading a simple life like any other ordinary person.

The life to Bruce Sun takes total opposite turn when his elder brother Charles Sun suddenly visit Los Angeles, California from Taipei, Taiwan.

Bruce Sun has left Taipei a long time ago. He don’t have any memory of his past life in Taipei. And he is unaware of the background of his family in Taipei.

From Charles, Bruce gets to know about his family’s professional. He get the biggest shock of his life when he gets to that he belongs to the family of renowned gangsters of Taipei.

Charles is also a criminal and he is trained by their late father. After the assissination of their father due to a mafia rivalry, Charles decide to move away from Taipei to protect his family.

Their mother also moved to California to restart her life in new way away from all the criminal surrounding. Her efforts are proved futile when the shadow of the criminal past follows them to California.

Now, Bruce has to get involved in his family business of crime to save his family. Will he do so? Or will he find another way to escape the unnecessary troubles?

The series is created by Brad Falchuk and Byron Wu. The series is executive produced by Brad Falchuk, Byron Wu, Kevin Tancharoen and Mikkel Bondesen under the banner of Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision and Unknown Rebel.

Release Date, OTT Platform and Trailer

There are total eight episodes in the series. All episodes will release on same day. The series is set to release for online streaming on January 4, 2023 on Netflix.
