The Diplomat Teaser: Jaishankar’s Push for John’s Film After Veda’s Flop
The much-awaited teaser of Bollywood actor John Abraham and Sadia Khateeb starrer The Diplomat was released today, Friday. Directed by Shivam Nair, the film is a joint production effort of T-Series, JA Entertainment and Wakao Films and Fortune Pictures. The teaser begins with Foreign Minister S Jaishankar. He is seen promoting the film in the teaser.

The nearly one-minute teaser begins with a clip from an interview of Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, where he describes Lord Shri Krishna and Hanuman as the two greatest diplomats. The scene then shifts focus to John Abraham in the role of real Indian diplomat J.P. Singh and Khateeb in the role of Uzma Ahmed, who are embroiled in a tense, high-stakes encounter. The film will release in theaters on March 7.
