Ryan Gosling is back in action in “The Fall Guy”
The Fall Guy is the story of a stuntman, Colt Seavers, played by Ryan Gosling, who had left the business from the movie industry a few years back, to heal himself, comes back to rescue his one-time girlfriend Jody Moreno (played by Emily Blunt), a movie director, when Tom Rydes, a famous actor with whom she was working with, went missing.
The Fall Guy is an American action comedy, directed by David Leitch and written by Drew Pearce, is loosely based on 1980s TV series about stuntmen. Produced by Ryan Gosling along with few others, the movie stars Gosling himself as the lead, Emily Blunt, Winston Duke, Aaron-Taylor Johnson, Hannah Waddingham and Stephanie Hsu as the supporting characters.
The movie had received wide acclaim and accolades after being premiered at SXSW on March 12th. The movie broke a Guinness World Record for the most cannon rolls performed in a car. It’s releasing in Australia on 24th April and worldwide on 3rd May.
Emily Blunt, who plays the female director in the movie, was originally about to play a make-up artist in the movie sets, but later on was changed into director, which makes the character more interesting. When asked, Emily Blunt confronted that she took the inspiration from the Barbie director Greta Gerwig.
Stuntmen around the world are not widely acclaimed who does most of the hardwork and even risks their lives to make the character in the movie more relatable. It is one of the hardest jobs. That’s why, few famous actors prefers to do stunts on their own. After playing the role of Ken Doll in Barbie, Gosling fans are ready to see a very different side of Ryan, and we all are quite sure that he is going to pull that role off very well.
