The Nun II follows the story of Sister Irene five years after the events of the first film. The story of the movie is set in the year 1956. A horrific incident happens and leads to the spread of horror throughout the country. A priest gets brutally murdered in France.
Valak, the evil nun, was not destroyed. She is back with more demonic power. She wants to take revenge and is now spreading terror over religious figures across Europe. The priests fall victim to gruesome demonic murders. She is killing them in more brutal ways.
Sister Irene is now friends with a newbie nun, Deba. Debra is facing a crisis of faith. They are put to the test after the Vatican demands Irene perform another miracle. After hearing the news of the murder of a priest, Irene and Debra rush to a French boarding school.
Sister Irene begins to investigate the case. During her investigation, she comes face-to-face with the powerful spirit of an evil nun, Valak. Only sister Irene can tackle the evil nun. She decides to figure out Valak’s motive and plans to send her back to hell.
The movie stars Taissa Farmiga, Jonas Bloquet, and Bonnie Aarons in the lead roles, with Storm Reid and Anna Popplewell and various other actors in supporting roles.
