The first part of The Taming of the Shrewd tells the story of a research scientist Kasak. She lives in US and have a boyfriend. One day she finds out the her boyfriend is cheating on her. This make her upset and she decides to return back to her hometown in Podhale, Poland.
She arrive at her homwtown to reconnect with her family. But she finds out that her brother Jedrus is doing an important land deal. Kasak is the co-owner of the land and she is against this deals.
Jedrus hires a handsome man Cue Patryk to woo Kasak and convince her to sell the land. However, in the act of love Jedrus falls in love with Kasak.
The second part of the movie is the continuation of the story. The Taming of the Shrewd 2 shows how Patryk and Kasak develops their relationship strong.
Patryk and Kasak are now a official couple. They are now trying to rebuild their lives in their hometown. Kasak who used to live in US is facing problems while settling down in the small town. Patryk and Kasak suspects each other of infidelity. They have to overcome few crisis to make their relationship stable.
