The film follows Mike, a construction worker who has a normal life until one day he finds himself in London. Mike discovers that he was kidnapped by his former high school girlfriend, Roxanne. In London, he meets Roxanne’s employer and learns that a list containing the identity of every US spy has been taken by some mystery hackers, which is why their team, The Union, requires someone who is not on the list. Mike discovers that he has been transported to London to perform an assignment. Will he accept the assignment?
The film stars Mark Wahlberg as Mike, Halle Berry as Roxanne, JK Simmons, Mike Colter as Nick Faraday, Jackie Earle Haley, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jessica De Gouw, Lorraine Bracco as Lorraine McKenna, and James McMenamin as Johnny Healy, among others.
