Theppa Samudram is streaming soon on AHA on 3rd August.
Theppa Samudram, a cop investigative drama written and directed by Sateesh Rapolu, stars Arjun Ambati from Bigg Boss Telugu 7, Chaitanya Rao Madali, and Ayyappa. The film was released theatrically on April 19 to tepid reviews and went almost forgotten at the box office.
Chaitanya Rao is noted for his ability to choose a diverse variety of screenplays and characters from many genres. His recent film, Theppa Samudram, has piqued curiosity since it is based on true events.
Theppa Samudram is about schoolgirls who go missing in a village called Theppa Samudram in Telangana, and how recently assigned SI Ganesh (Chaitanya Rao) steps in as an investigative investigator. Around the same period, Indu (Kishori Dhatrak), the founder of the Netra Foundation, begins making earnest efforts to find the missing children.
As Ganesh investigates the mystery, he suspects everyone, including his own father, Lawyer Viswanath (Ravi Shankar). Meanwhile, Vijay (Arjun Ambati), who adores Indu, is on the same path. While attempting to solve the case, a shocking fact surfaces unexpectedly. What happened to the missing children? What does Lawyer Vishwanath do now?
The digital streaming rights for the criminal thriller have been sold to Aha Video, the first Telugu-only OTT company. The film will make its long-awaited debut in three months. Aha Video confirmed the official date of broadcasting as August 3.
