According to the recent update, the Kamal Haasan starrer directed by Mani Ratnam has now set a new record in the Tamil film industry with its digital rights.
As per the latest updates, the much-awaited action-drama film has emerged as the highest grosser in Tamil cinema in terms of digital rights. The digital rights of ‘Thug Life’ have been sold to Netflix for a whopping Rs 149.7 crore.
The film stars Kamal Haasan as well as Silambarasan TR in a pivotal role. If reports are to be believed, the digital rights were sold much before the team completed filming the film. More updates on this are expected soon.
