Ravi Kumar, a focus pullet tells how actor Tiger Shroff and his family are assisting him financially as he waits for his promised payment from Pooja Entertainment.
Tiger Shroff Update: Pooja Entertainment, owned by film producer Vashu Bhagnani, has been accused of failing to pay cast and crew expenses for three productions, including Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Despite all of this, Ravi Kumar, a 45-year-old focus puller who was struggling to make ends meet due to nonpayment, has received assistance from actor Tiger Shroff. Kumar had an accident last year that left him bedridden for eight months. “[Since the accident], I’ve taken up light work. But I’m not getting much work,” he says, adding that his savings were used to pay off medical bills, and he had been promised payment for the unreleased film Mere Husband Ki Biwi, on which he worked in 2022.
Tiger Shroff stepped in to assist Kumar after learning about his dilemma. “My brother, Prasad, worked on his father (actor) Jackie Shroff’s 1994 film, 1942: A Love Story, and shattered his hand on set. Tab Jackie sir, mere bhai ka surgery karaya tha. Now, his kid (Tiger Shroff) has assisted me. I was Heropanti’s focus puller. So he stepped up to assist me,” adds Kumar, who does not want to reveal the sum, which we have learned is in lakhs.
Kumar adds that the Shroff family has been watching out for him, saying, “His mother (Ayesha Shroff) called me on Tuesday.” Tiger might not remember that I worked on his first film. But, as a human being, he still offered to help.”
