The story of the series revolves around a
A high school student named Eun Gyeol He has hearing-impaired parents. But he has a gift for music. He studies during the day and plays the guitar in a band at night.
One day, he visits a mysterious musical instrument store. Acidentally, time travels to the year 1995. There he meets the younger version of his father, Ha Yi Chan, along with Choi Se-Kyung and Yoon Chung-A. They all become friends and form a band called Watermelon Sugar.
Meanwhile, Ha Yi Chann has a crush on Choi Se Kyung. She is known as the Cello Goddess of Seowon Arts High School. He tries to win her heart. But she is not her future.
His future mother, Yoon Chung-A, is hearing impaired. She is cold and aloof towards others.
Now Eun Gyeol has plans to connect his future father, Ha Yi Chann, and his future mother, Choi Se Kyung.
