‘The Sabarmati Report’ : ’12th Fail’ Actor Vikrant’s Upcoming Movie Unveil On 3 May

‘The Sabarmati Report’ is inspired by the true events that took place aboard the Sabarmati Express near Godhra railway station on the morning of 27 February 2002.

Vikrant Massey, who won the hearts of the audience with ’12th Fail’, will now star with actress Riddhi Dogra in Ekta Kapoor‘s ‘The Sabarmati Report’. After the success of Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s ’12th Fail’, actor Vikrant Massey has signed another film based on a real life incident.

Vikrant will star alongside Massey, Raashi Khanna and Riddhi Dogra in ‘The Sabarmati Report’, a film based on the 2002 Godhra train burning incident. The film is being produced by Ekta R Kapoor‘s Balaji Motion Pictures.

This film is written by Aseem Arora and directed by Ranjan Chandel. He had earlier directed the web series ‘Grahan’. According to a press note shared by the makers, ‘The Sabarmati Report’ is inspired by the true events that took place aboard the Sabarmati Express near Godhra railway station on the morning of 27 February 2002.

That morning, rioters set fire to the Sabarmati Express at Godhra station, killing 59 Hindu pilgrims and kar sevaks. Who were returning from Ayodhya. After this incident, another incident started, which was the Gujarat riots of 2002.

Riddhi Dogra was seen in the two biggest box office hits of the year, ‘Jawaan’ and ‘Tiger 3’, while Raashi Khanna appeared in the most watched Indian web series of the year, ‘Farzie’. Sabarmati Report is going to be released on the big screen on May 3 this year.
