Varun Dhawan’s entry confirmed in Sunny Deol’s Border 2, will play the role of a soldier for the first time
Varun Dhawan has announced his upcoming film. There were rumours for a long time that he will be seen in Sunny Deol starrer Border 2. Finally, Varun Dhawan himself has confirmed these news and shared the announcement video from the much awaited film.
The film Border, based on the 1971 India-Pakistan war, was the second highest grossing film of 1997. Directed by JP Dutta, the film featured actors like Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Jackie Shroff and Akshaye Khanna in important roles. After nearly 29 years, a sequel to Border is going to be made.
Some time ago, the makers had announced Border 2. Sunny Deol’s role is confirmed in the film, but the rest will be new faces. Earlier it was reported that Dream Girl actor Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen in an important role as a soldier along with Sunny Deol, but now he has been dropped from the film. His place has been taken by Bollywood’s ‘Bhediya’.
