Vedaa : John Abraham’s action film opens at ₹6.52 cr
John Abraham‘s latest action thriller Vedaa has had a promising start at the box office, opening to ₹6.52 crore on its first day. The film, directed by Nikkhil Advani and starring Sharvari Wagh alongside Abraham, has been released in over 3,500 screens nationwide.
Despite facing stiff competition from other releases during the Independence Day weekend, movie managed to draw in audiences, particularly in metropolitan areas.
The movie’s advance booking figures had already hinted at a strong opening, with sales close to ₹58.90 lakh, reflecting decent anticipation. Made on a budget of around ₹50-60 crore, the film needs to maintain its momentum to secure a solid return on investment.
While the film’s performance on subsequent days will determine its overall box office success, the initial numbers indicate that film has struck a chord with fans of the action genre, ensuring a strong start to its theatrical run.
