Vedaa : John Abraham’s film hits new daily low on Raksha Bandhan, tanks with just Rs 15 crore
John Abraham‘s latest film “Vedaa” continues to struggle at the box office, recording its lowest daily collection on its fifth day, despite the Raksha Bandhan holiday. The film, directed by Nikkhil Advani, managed to earn only ₹1.35 crore on Monday, bringing its total domestic collection to a disappointing ₹14.70 crore.
After a modest opening weekend, where “Vedaa” garnered ₹13.35 crore over four days, the film failed to maintain momentum. The initial collection included ₹6.75 crore on its first day, but subsequent days saw significant drops, with only ₹2.5 crore collected on Sunday.
The Raksha Bandhan holiday did little to boost its performance, reflecting weak audience interest and competition from other releases. Given its current trajectory, the film is unlikely to recover its costs, marking a rare miss for John Abraham at the box office.
