After keeping the trailer for Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal, under wraps, the makers released it online on Monday morning. Vicky plays the Maratha monarch, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, in the film, and he nails the role.
Vicky Kaushal took to Instagram on Monday to share a teaser for Chhava, writing, “Protector of Swarajya.” Defender of Dharma. #Chhaava – An epic narrative of a brave warrior!” He also stated that the film will be released on December 6.

Chhaava, directed by Laxman Utekar of Luka Chuppi and Mimi fame, stars Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale, Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb, Ashutosh Rana as Sarsenapati Hambirao Mohite, and Divya Dutta as Soyarabai, among others.
