Vicky Kaushal: Surprise Visit To Bad Newz’s Late-Night Show In Mumbai; Sang Tauba Tauba with audience 

Vicky Kaushal, who had the greatest opening of his career with the romantic comedy Bad Newz, praised the Mumbai audience for enduring the rain.

Vicky Kaushal is working tirelessly to promote his current album, Bad Newz. To surprise the audience, the actor appeared for a late-night screening of the film in Mumbai.

Vicky Kaushal came to Instagram on Sunday to share a video from Saturday night, when he went to a cinema to watch his flick Bad Newz. He can be seen wearing a white kurta and folding his hands in gratitude to the audience who came out for the late-night event despite the heavy rain in Mumbai. The popular end-credit song, Tauba Tauba, plays on the large screen while Vicky sings it with the theatrical crowd, who also take photos on their phones.

Vicky Kaushal is observed stating that it’s late and he should leave immediately. When admirers want selfies, he quips that he will stay up until 4 a.m. to gratify them. A senior member of the crowd then asks Vicky for a picture. Vicky hugs him respectfully and poses for a photograph. Vicky captioned the image, “The city has been put on notice due to rain, yet you guys still show up and make it a HOUSEFULL event! Thank you for making the #BadNewz team happy this weekend. We hope we were successful in accomplishing the same for you. Only thankfulness for all of the love coming in. Pyaar aapka sach mein #TaubaTauba hain. I love you all!”

Bad Newz, starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, earned ₹19.17 crore at the domestic box office in two days, according to the creators on Sunday. The film, which opened in theatres throughout the country on Friday, is directed by Anand Tiwari, best known for his directorial debut film Love Per Square Foot (2018). The film grossed ₹10.55 crore on its second day at the box office, up from ₹8.62 crore on its first.
