Viral Video: From the medical officer to the maid, everyone was punished
In the viral video, it can be seen that two women from the hospital staff are making the deceased’s wife clean the stretcher. In this case, the nursing officer and the maid have been suspended.
The administration has come into action after a video of a primary health center in Dindori, Madhya Pradesh went viral. The nurse and nursing officer of the Gardasari Primary Health Center have been suspended. Along with this, the medical officer has been attached to another community health center. A video of the Gardasari Primary Health Center surfaced, in which a woman is seen cleaning a stretcher.
Later it was learnt that after the death of this woman’s husband, the hospital staff made her clean the stretcher. After this, action was taken against the concerned officials.
The Public Relations Department of Madhya Pradesh informed that the Chief Medical and Health Officer Dindori has taken disciplinary action against the officers and employees responsible for the objectionable and inhuman incident that took place in the district.
According to the order issued in this regard, Medical Officer Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh posted at Primary Health Center Gardasari has been attached to Community Health Center Karanjia till further orders. Also, Nursing Officer Rajkumari and Aaya Chhoti Bai Thakur posted at Primary Health Center Gardasari have been suspended with immediate effect.
